Responsibilities
Possess comprehensive knowledge of and ability to teach grade 7/8 CT Social Studies Standards to diverse learners.
Works with individuals and groups as a Social Studies Teacher
Establishes and adjusts instructional goals and objectives to reflect IDCS’s curriculum, and to meet the knowledge, skills, progress, and needs of students.
Plans learning activities to address individual differences among students.
Able to use formative and summative assessments to inform student learning and instructional goals.
Keep students advised as to the expectations by encouraging and practicing student self-assessment.
Collaborates with grade level colleagues.
