IDCS students have been choosing kindness on a daily basis. We will be highlighting a few students (and maybe even some staff members) in every newsletter. Small acts of kindness add up!
Ari ~ Walks out a preschooler every afternoon to their bus, she holds his hand and makes sure he gets on the bus safely! Submitted by Ms. MaryEllen
Milos & Peini ~ Helped a Kindergarten student find books in the media center during their special time. They were incredibly kind to him and offered to read with him at later dates as well. Submitted by Mrs. Kobyluck
Andrew ~ Has gone above and beyond to help with the organization of ⅞ grade end of the year activities. Submitted by Ms. A
Trin & Megan ~ Wrote an application for an award on behalf of IDCS regarding community service and outreach. They did not hesitate to do so when asked. Submitted by Ms. A
Derek ~ Passed a pencil to a friend who needed it. Also helped a friend from Mrs. Hawk’s class find a cup for water. Submitted by Ms. Grant
Tsering, Briana & Om ~ Helped Mrs. Curtis set up snacks after the K/1 Performance. Submitted by Ms. Grant
