IDCS STANDS WITH UKRAINE

ANNUAL PICNIC: IDCS is returning to Harkness Memorial Park for our annual picnic this year. The picnic will take place on Thursday, June 16th. We are asking people to please drive if at all possible due to limited bus permits available. We will have 5 buses to transport students whose parents cannot attend/drive. SAVE THE DATE and celebrate with us on June 16th. IDEA provides hot dogs and buns and parent volunteers will take turns cooking on the grill. The rest of the food is potluck style; a sign up will be sent home closer to the picnic date.
FIDGETS: Please do not send your child to school with any fidgets, toys, stuffed animals, etc.
ANNUAL HANGING BASKET PLANT SALE: Coming up at the end of April/beginning of May. More details will be coming next week!
SMALL SCHOOL: April 29, Small School: Pod B (Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Temple, Ms. White, Ms. Battista, Mr. Cyr)
FOOD DRIVE: The IDCS Spring Food Drive that is being sponsored by Student Council will directly benefit IDCS Families. Please continue to bring in those donations! If you would like to sign up to receive food, please contact [email protected] or [email protected]. All recipient names will be confidential and an easy pick up will be provided.
BASKET RAFFLE will not be an event, baskets will be raffled only. Tickets will be sold after Spring Break.

SAVE THE DATE - STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON: Staff Appreciation Week is May 2nd - May 6th. IDCS Parent Volunteers traditionally host a luncheon for staff members to show their appreciation. This year’s luncheon will be held from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6th. Organizers will be needed from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m during the luncheon with helpers needed to set up before and clean up afterward. There will also be a space to sign up to bring or send in food items. Thank you!

- Cover Contest is open to 8th grade Students and due to the front desk by April 14th.
- Student Shout Outs can be ordered at idcs.org/yearbookshout/ with options $5-$75 by May 1st.

Choose Kindness
2021/2022 IDCS Theme
IDCS students have been choosing kindness on a daily basis. We will be highlighting a few students (and maybe even some staff members) in every newsletter. Small acts of kindness add up!
