Smarter Balance Testing

 

The Connecticut State Department of Education requires that all public schools administer the Smarter Balanced assessment for English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics to all students in grades 3-8.  The assessment for Science is administered to all students in grades 5 and 8.  The assessments are aligned to Connecticut's Common Core Standards.  

 

The assessments are typically administered in the Spring.  Parents will receive results in the mail the following Fall.
