ABOUT
IDCS offers Basketball for students in grades 4 - 8. Students must try out in order to be placed on a team. The season will start on November 1st and run through February. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in an IDCS hosted Basketball Tournament and a Staff vs Students Game.

Certified Coach Clarence R. Neal was born 8-13-73 in Kansas City and relocated to Norwich CT in 1989. He graduated from Norwich Free Academy. He coached Norwich Recreation Boys and Girls Basketball for about 17 years. In 2012 he had the opportunity to coach a AAU team called the Allstar's. Coach Neal has been our Boys Head coach for about 4 years now. This upcoming season he will be our Head Girls Coach.

Hope is a Paraprofessional for our Middle School. She is a graduate from Springfield College with degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Services. Hope has been actively involved in athletics her entire life. She played Basketball throughout her schooling, then moved onto being an Assistant AAU Coach for numerous years. Coach Hope's heavy passion for basketball pushes her to keep fundamentals, hard work, and fun in the game.
