Hi Friends!
First, please make sure you type in the minutes you worked last week in the assignment calendar and share it with me so I can give you credit. Thank you to everyone who has already done this!

This week I'm giving you a slideshow project to do on Google Slides. I'd like you to keep a diary of things you think, feel, and do each day of this week using a combination of words and pictures on each slide. You can tell me about (and show me) the cookies you bake, your pets, you doing a back flip or dance routine, or characters from your favorite video game or TV show. I've attached a blank slideshow here for you to make a copy of and use. The directions explaining what to do are on the first slide. Please let me know if you have any problems or questions. I'm really looking forward to seeing what your lives are like during your time at home and I hope you enjoy this!

You'll be having Media for the next two weeks. I've attached a calendar with what to do each day for about 15-20 minutes (or more if you want, of course!).

Three things:
1. If you choose to practice typing on Typing Club, you may see “Your connection is not private”. You will need to click “Advanced” and then “Proceed to www.idcstyping.typingclub.com (unsafe)”. Don’t worry, it’s safe. Then you can login. Or you can just type on Easy Tech.

2. You will find the classroom link and secret words for logging into code.org attached here. Some people have never started the Express Course. Everyone needs to. It's actually a lot of fun.

3. Please MAKE A COPY of this calendar and type in the minutes you spend working each day. Here's how:
- Click on the calendar
- Click on File
- Click Make a copy
- RENAME it adding your name (very important)
- Type in your minutes worked
- Turn it in on Friday

Hi Friends!
Please read the attached letter below that explains what to do for Media over the next few weeks. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. I'll be available every weekday from 12 noon - 3 pm here on Google Classroom or at [email protected]. For now I'm just asking you to practice typing for twenty minutes each week on Typing Club (must log in to the IDCS student portal at www.idcstyping.typingclub.com), spend twenty minutes on Easy Tech each week, and try out the new coding program on Code.org that I've enrolled you all in for twenty minutes each week. Instructions for the coding program (Code.org Express Course) are also attached below. You can do a little each day or sit down and do it all at once, on the couch, at a desk, or in bed! That's the nice part of working at home! I'm in my robe and slippers cuddled up with my cats right now. That's it for now. Have fun distance learning!

Hola estudiantes, You all should be finishing your Spanish packet given to you during the first wave of distance learning 2 weeks ago. This packet was supplemental work to do from March 16th through March 27th.
Email me with attached pictures of the completed assignment pages so that I can check your completed work off the Spanish Work Tracking Sheet. The completion of your Spanish assignments will reflect on your report card. I'm here to help everyone with anything I can in Spanish.
Starting Monday, March 30th through April 20th your new assignments will be posted in google classroom.
