Student-Staff Basketball Game: March 5, 6:00-8:00 in the IDCS gym. The teachers have won the last few games. Please come with your children to the game. There will be a concession stand. Donations accepted for the game. 

PEP RALLY: March 5, 1:45-2:15 Students and staff basketball players will be introduced. The cheerleaders will do a cheer. Students should wear IDCS school color, which is green.  

Student Led Conferences: Student Led Conferences will take place on March 11 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and March 12 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.  There will be a 12:00 p.m. dismissal on both days.  Digital sign up forms have gone home to those families with multiple IDCS students via email, digital sign up forms will go out to all families on Monday, March 2 and will be available on each teacher's webpage.  Please be sure to sign up in the correct teacher's sign up for each of your children.  Please submit only ONE sign up for each child.  Contact your child's teacher or Rachel at rachels@idcs.org if you have any questions.  

Scholastic Book Fair:  The Spring Book fair will be held during the week of conferences.  All students will have a $5 credit to put towards the purchase of a book.  See hours of operation below.  More information to come!  If you are available to volunteer at the book fair during any of those times or for set up on Friday, March 6th or take down on Friday, March 13th please contact Rachel at rachels@idcs.org.

  • March 10 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Classes will visit the book fair.
  • March 11 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Open for parent or individual student purchases.
  • March 11 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Open for parent purchases during student led conferences.
  • March 12 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Open for parent or individual student purchases during the school and and during student led conferences.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FROM 12:30 - 2:30.

2020/2021 IDCS PreK Sibling Enrollment:  If you have a current IDCS child and they have a sibling that lives with them and was born from January 1, 2016 through January 1, 2017 please be sure to stop by the front desk to fill out a student application prior to April 1st.  Qualifying siblings will get into the IDCS PreK program, but MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION prior to April 1st in order for us to hold their spot.  Please contact Rachel Stahl at rachels@idcs.org or June Morrone at junem@idcs.org if you have any questions.

Lost & Found: Bins are located near the former main entrance area. Periodically, pictures of lost and found items will be posted in the newsletter. At the end of every term, the clothes will be donated.  All unclaimed items will be donated to charity on March 13th.
