I have lived in Connecticut since I was in 5th grade.  I moved from upstate New York with my parents and brother. I live in the same house now.  My husband is a retired high school band director. My  son graduated from IDCS. after having been here for 10 years, in 2014 and  is a music student who studies in Las Vegas.  My two cats, Lillie and George, allow us to live with them..

Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working?

I love Broadway musicals.  I also love Gilbert and Sullivan and have sung all thirteen operettas. Our family loves the Outer Banks in North Carolina and Cape Cod.  I do cryptograms every chance I get!

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire the teachers and staff of our Charter School for their constant dedication and enthusiasm that I see every day. I admire the people who realize that there are always others who have it worse than they do and do their best to add joy to the places they call home.

If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Probably, if there was only one thing I could eat for the rest of my life, it would be very dark chocolate, the darker the better and perhaps surrounded by a cookie!
