Name: Julia Cronin

Position: ⅞ Science Teacher

Number of Years @ IDCS: This is my 13th year at IDCS

What is the most inspiring part of your job? 

The most inspiring part of my job is working with such incredible people:  both students and staff.  I am awed by the creativity students show me through their work and I admire the passion that staff members bring to their job each and every day.

Family, Pets, Home:

Mr. Cronin and I have 3 children:  Parker, Emme, and Peter.  Although our kids no longer live with us, we stay busy with our 2 dogs (Fenway and Finnegan) and 2 cats (Scrabble and Tarpin).  We also have a horse, a donkey, and several chickens.

Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working? 

I enjoy photography and gardening.  Though I’m an amateur at both, I’m always looking for new ways to improve my skills.  I just got a drone, so I’m venturing out into the world of videography too.
